Alejandro Galindo
Chief Executive Officer
Alejandro Galindo is Chief Executive Officer of Quanta. Alejandro joined Quanta with over 25 years of experience in the healthcare, energy, and consumer industries. A career veteran known for his considerable expertise across a variety of leadership roles, Alejandro has an accomplished track record in product development, mergers and acquisitions, global expansion, and distribution strategies. Most recently, he served as executive vice president of the Endocrine Business Unit of MannKind Corporation, a company focused on the development and commercialization of inhaled therapeutic products for patients with diabetes and orphan lung diseases.
Prior to MannKind, Alejandro spent 6 years at Medtronic as vice president and president of the Advanced Insulin Management Business Unit, where he achieved double-digit growth within their diabetes division. Alejandro also spent 20 years at General Electric leading teams across the globe from the company’s diverse group of industries. He holds a Master of Science and Master of Business Administration from Indiana University Bloomington, and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
Jonathan Isenburg
Chief Financial Officer
Jonathan Isenburg is Interim Chief Financial Officer at Quanta. Jonathan joins Quanta from Conventus Flower where he served as that Company’s CFO and COO. While at Conventus Flower, Jonathan worked closely with the CEO to acquire Flower Orthopedics and the FlexThread Intramedullary Nailing Platform. Prior to joining Conventus Flower, Jonathan led Infraredx through a dual track IPO process that culminated in its sale to the Nipro Corporation.
Jonathan began his career at PwC and was a manager in the Financial Advisory Services practice at RSM. Jonathan earned an MS in Investment Management from Boston University and a BBA in Accounting from UMASS Amherst. He was formerly licensed as a CPA.
Dr Selly Saini
Chief Operating Officer
Selly is Chief Operating Officer at Quanta and brings over 15 years’ experience working in senior operational roles in large global companies and in rapidly growing start-ups.
Previously, he was Senior Director of Operations at Oxford Nanopore Technologies and prior to that he held various senior positions including CEO at MedTech Inside Biometrics and Vice President and Worldwide Director at Johnson and Johnson Medical Devices and Diagnostics. Selly obtained his PhD from Cranfield University, a British postgraduate research university specialising in science, engineering, technology and management.
Dr Paul Komenda
Chief Medical Officer
Dr Paul Komenda is Chief Medical Officer at Quanta, Professor of Medicine at the University of Manitoba, a fellow of the American Society of Nephrology and has extensive clinical and academic experience. Prior to joining Quanta, Dr Komenda served on the Scientific Advisory Board of NxStage Medical.
Dr Komenda gained his medical qualification in 2001 from the University of Manitoba and is a board-certified nephrologist. Dr Komenda studied health economics at the University of Calgary and holds a master’s degree in health administration. Dr Komenda has over 170 published peer reviewed articles in health services research and clinical nephrology and, with a specialist knowledge and interest in the field of home dialysis and health economics, is highly regarded as an expert in his field.
George Maynard
General Counsel and Company Secretary
George is General Counsel and Company Secretary at Quanta and has over 25 years of experience providing legal counsel at both private law firms and large global companies.
George joined Quanta in 2017 from GO Outdoors Ltd where he served as General Counsel and Company Secretary. Prior to this, he held positions as Partner at Millbank Edge LLP and Pannone LLP. George received his Juris Doctor degree from University of Bristol.
Jenny Fernandes
Global Director of People and Performance
Jenny is Global Director of People and Performance at Quanta and has over 15 years of experience in human resources, people leadership and talent acquisition.
Jenny is a senior leader with significant experience in entrepreneurial, fast-growth start-up organizations. Prior to joining Quanta, Jenny held various talent acquisition and HR positions at Sogeti, LexisNexis, and BMS, before growing and leading the People function at ReachLocal Europe BV. Jenny holds a Bachelor of Science from University of Birmingham.
